Building Skills for Life: Young People’s Project Math Literacy Workers

  • Keith Look, Ed.D., VP Education Solutions, Territorium, Cliff Freeman, Director of Stem Programs at YPP, and Maisha Moses, Executive Director at YPP

 

YPP trains high school and college students from communities struggling with systemic inequality as math literacy workers (MLWs) who facilitate interactive math games and activities for small groups of middle school students. Young People’s Project (YPP) will discuss how it is using Territorium’s comprehensive learner record (CLR) to track students’ competencies in math to support academic and social development.
